Writing-Teachers will instruct students in how to interpret, respond to, and write to a given situation of a narrative, expository, and/or persuasive prompt (essay). Through intensive practice and regulary timed writing, students will become prolific writers. Writing is tested in grades 4, 8 and 10.

Math- Math is taught through direct instruction and hands-on experience (manipulative)

FCAT- we prepare students for reading, writing, and math tests through state approved simulations. The simulations will help familiarize students with the entire testing process, thus, minimizing test anxiety.

Study Skills/ learning Strategies/Homework Assistance

Students will be given test-taking strategies tailored toward successful results on standardized/norm-referenced tests and throughout his/her grade level progressions.
